France: The Suffering and Hardships of the People of Gaza Must End
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Jean-Noël Barrot, France’s Foreign Minister, spoke today, Monday, at the Two-State Solution conference in New York. Without condemning continued crimes by Israeli occupiers against Gaza’s vulnerable population, he saeid that the United Nations meeting on peacefully resolving the Palestinian issue must become a turning point for implementing the so-called two-state solution. He stated that targeting children and women while they seek humanitarian aid is unacceptable.
Ignoring the fundamental fact that Israeli presence on Palestinian land constitutes occupation, France’s minister added: “We must move from ending the war in Gaza to ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” He noted relentless efforts to achieve a political solution in west Asia. The ongoing conflict and war must stop along with the hardships faced by Gaza’s people; a ceasefire must begin immediately in this area.
