Kuwait Foreign Minister Speaks on Second Day of UN Meeting on Palestine
Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Enezi, speaking on the second day of the United Nations conference on Palestine, emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. He described the ongoing blockade as a brutal threat to the lives of two million people residing there, according to webangah News agency.
Al-Enezi reaffirmed Kuwait’s strong support for recognizing a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders.
He stressed that humanitarian aid must reach Gaza promptly and those responsible for committing crimes should be held accountable.
The minister warned that achieving comprehensive peace will not be possible without ending occupation and securing all rights for the Palestinian people.
He also called for an end to the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The two-day conference on Palestine began yesterday in New York.
