U.S. President Describes Russia as a Powerful Nation.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House that Russia is a powerful country that knows how to win wars.
He added, “The Russians are strong; thatS why they continue fighting. This country once defeated Hitler, and we also defeated him. Russia also defeated Napoleon.”
Trump stated that Putin’s decision to travel to Alaska to meet with him is respectable. ”It is an honorable move for the Russian president to come to our country instead of us traveling to his or a third location,” he said.
Earlier, Russian and American officials announced that Putin and Trump would meet on August 15 in Alaska.
