Retired Israeli Air Force Pilots Protest Against Netanyahu
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and National public Radio (NPR), thousands of retired officers from the Israeli Air Force gathered in a major protest against Prime Minister Netanyahu’s continuation of the war and ongoing bloodshed.
These demonstrations occur weekly to oppose the current conflict in Gaza and criticize Netanyahu’s government for its failure to succeed across all areas, especially regarding the release of Israeli prisoners held by Hamas.
In this latest protest,hundreds of retired Israeli Air Force pilots stood outside the Ministry of War building in Tel Aviv,voicing their opposition to the war.
This was the first time that this group-calling themselves “555”-assembled specifically to oppose the cabinet’s recent decision to launch an operation aimed at occupying Gaza City and expanding hostilities.
The predominantly over-60 crowd gathered under a banner demanding the freedom of Israeli captives held by Hamas.
