What Happened in the Meeting Between Trump and European Leaders?
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today,Donald trump,President of the United States,stated during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders at the White House that progress there is going very well.
He added that they are hopeful about agreements resulting from their meetings with European Union leaders and Zelensky, which will lead to a trilateral summit with Russia.
The US president said he has discussed some remaining issues directly with Zelensky.He noted that during their session with EU leaders and Zelensky, they will address the possibility of “territorial exchanges.”
Trump said, “Within a certain timeframe-not too far from now-one or two weeks-we will know whether we can resolve this or if this terrible conflict will continue. we will do everything we can to end it.”
He continued: “We had a very successful day and significant talks. Our goal is to work toward ending the war and killing. I have also spoken indirectly with Putin and plan to continue those conversations; they may be very productive. Afterward, there will be a trilateral meeting aimed at ending this war.”
