Al-Qassam Pounds Enemy Positions in Rafah
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, reported that their ”Rajum” rockets struck and destroyed an Israeli command center, troops’ assembly points, and vehicles southwest of Rafah city.
The Rajum rocket system is a relatively new weapon used by the Izz al-Din al-qassam brigades to target fortified positions and concentrations of Israeli forces.
This system is mainly employed in close-range ground combat and guerrilla warfare. Its effective range reaches between 8 to 9 kilometers.
The Rajum launcher consists of five tubes arranged in three rows side by side. Each launcher can fire up to fifteen rockets.
It can launch between 15 to 20 rockets per minute at enemy targets, demonstrating considerable operational capacity.
