Hamas Calls for Nationwide Sit-In Protests at U.S. and Israeli Embassies
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, declared in a statement that the Israeli regime’s plans to occupy Gaza amount to an aggression causing new displacement, endangering over one million Palestinians.
Hamas also called for intensified protests and sit-ins outside the embassies of the United States, israel, and countries supporting the occupation across the globe.
The movement urged increased global demonstrations on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday against what it described as aggression, genocide, and Israel’s policy of starving Palestinians.
On Wednesday night, an Israeli military spokesperson announced that the second phase of its Gaza occupation operation had begun. The forces have entered stage two of what is referred to as “Gideon’s Wheels.”
In this context, Israel Katz, Minister of War in Netanyahu’s cabinet, approved a plan proposed by Eyal Zamir-the Chief of Staff-and senior military commanders. Katz named it “Gideon’s Wheels 2.”
Katz stated that this plan continues the previous operation phase which allegedly enabled the army to control 75 percent of Gaza Strip territory while destroying large parts of Hamas’ underground and surface infrastructure.
