Iraqi Resistance: Our Finger Is on the Trigger; We Cannot Trust U.S. Promises
The Coordination Committee of Iraqi Resistance Groups stated on Thursday that the United States will not change its hostile policies toward nations and cannot be trusted to keep its promises, according to webangah News Agency, citing Al mayadeen.
The statement added that the hands of loyal Iraqi resistance fighters remain on the trigger to protect Iraq and its people.
It further noted that while the U.S.has relocated some forces to what it considers safer locations and reduced troop numbers at bases, it has increased fighter jet and drone flights within Iraqi airspace. This demonstrates Washington’s insistence on violating Iraq’s sovereignty and disregarding the will of the Iraqi people.
The Coordination Committee called on government bodies and the iraqi parliament to oversee American occupying forces in Iraq closely and ensure their full withdrawal so that Iraq’s complete sovereignty over its land and skies can be achieved.
