Gaza Death Toll Reaches 62,192
The English section of webangah News Agency,citing “Mehr News Agency” and Palestine Today,reported that the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated on Thursday that since the Israeli occupation’s aggression began on October 7,2023,the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has reached 62,192,most of whom are women and children.
The ministry’s daily statistical report added that the number of injured has risen to 157,114 since the onset of hostilities. It also reported that many victims remain trapped under rubble due to ambulances and civil defense teams being unable to reach them.
In addition, over the past 24 hours, 70 martyrs and 356 wounded individuals have been transferred to hospitals across Gaza according to health officials.
The report further noted that since March 18-when occupiers violated a ceasefire agreement-the overall count stands at 10,646 martyrs and 45,073 injured.
At aid distribution centers over the last day, there were 18 martyrs and 117 injured, bringing fatalities at these sites to a total of 2,036 with injuries reaching 15,046 Palestinians.
Also recorded within twenty-four hours were two deaths attributed to hunger and malnutrition. This raises famine-related casualties in Gaza to 271, including 112 children.
