Moscow Strongly Condemns European Troika’s Decision Against Iran

Moscow‍ strongly ​condemns the European troika’s decision to‍ reimpose sanctions on​ Iran.

According to ⁢the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm,​ the Russian Ministry‌ of ⁣Foreign Affairs has vehemently⁣ condemned the european troika’s decision ‍to reactivate sanctions⁣ against Iran. ‌Moscow emphasized the ‌need to resume constructive dialog ‌between parties to avoid a new crisis over Iran’s nuclear⁤ program​ and called ⁤for a reassessment of the sanctions reinstatement.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that there is no legal ‍or legitimate basis for‍ the European troika ​to trigger the snapback⁣ mechanism against Iran.

The ministry’s statement added: “We urge the European troika to reconsider its decisions before they⁢ lead to irreversible consequences.”

Moscow expressed ‌its belief that “the approach taken by the ‍European troika toward Tehran has no future.”

The⁤ statement continued: “The priority must be to revive constructive talks among all relevant parties in order to prevent a new crisis surrounding‌ Iran’s nuclear program. ​The efforts by the European troika to ‌reinstate sanctions undermine ‍attempts at achieving‌ a negotiated solution on ⁤this issue.”

Previously, China’s Foreign Ministry noted⁢ that Iran’s ⁣nuclear issue is at a sensitive stage and that⁢ dialogue and negotiations must resume. it expressed ​support for peace talks aimed at returning discussions about Iran’s nuclear‌ file onto a proper track, describing ⁢renewed UN Security Council sanctions against Iran as‌ an unproductive ⁤measure.
