Lloyd’s List Reacts to Yemen’s Missile Attack on Israeli Ship
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Almasirah, reported that Lloyd’s List, a maritime-focused publication, described the missile strike on an Israeli vessel near the coast of Saudi Arabia as the furthest naval attack conducted by Yemeni armed forces from their northern front.
Last night, Yemeni armed forces issued a statement announcing they targeted the Israeli oil tanker Scarlet Ray in northern Red Sea waters.
The statement added that “this naval operation was carried out using a ballistic missile which,by God’s grace, directly hit this Israeli ship.”
It continued: “By preventing Israeli vessels or ships heading toward ports in occupied Palestine from passing through, we will continue to support the Palestinian people. We also remain committed to bombing Israeli targets within occupied Palestine.”
