Moscow: Europe’s Attempt to Isolate Russia Has Backfired
Kyrill Dmitriev,CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and russia’s Special Presidential Envoy for Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries,revealed the consequences of Western efforts to isolate Russia,according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency via Russia Al-Youm.
In a post on platform X, Dmitriev wrote that Europe’s attempts to isolate Russia have caused significant economic decline within the European Union itself.
He added, “Rather then isolating Russia, the EU has isolated itself.” Low-cost energy has shifted to China; industrial sectors have relocated; inflation has surged to unprecedented levels; and illegal migration waves are becoming an increasing concern across these countries.
The Russian official also called for adopting options “based on peace, prosperity, and realism” during this critical period the world is experiencing.
