Lebanon’s Labor Minister Responds to Cabinet Meeting and Possible Scenarios

Lebanon’s Minister of Labor Comments on Today’s Cabinet Meeting and It’s‍ Possible Scenarios.

According to the English⁣ section of webangah News⁤ Agency, citing Al-Nashra, Lebanon’s Minister of Labor Mohammad⁣ haidar spoke about today’s cabinet meeting and ⁣its ⁢potential scenarios. He said there is no predetermined outcome, but what is happening is unusual, noting that ‍on Wednesday night, the Israeli enemy bombed civilian targets⁤ and citizens traveling by car on the coastal highway in southern Lebanon.

He added ⁣that ⁢anything can be expected from ⁢the enemy. The real question is: what will the Lebanese government do? What steps ‍will it take? What role will it play if an attack occurs? What role will the Lebanese army have? should we simply stand by and watch? Is that all that needs to be done?

The minister emphasized ⁣that Israel has made no commitments, and nothing ‍prevents ⁤it from continuing attacks since no one⁢ has guaranteed adherence to any resolution so far. This was declared by U.S. representative Thomas Barrack as well as Israel itself.

haidar ‌asked how discussions could proceed given ‍current events. He noted there are issues they⁣ cannot accept, and some Lebanese feel their government does not care about them.

Regarding this session and⁤ the army plan to be presented during it, he stated they⁤ have no data-and as a minister he has received nothing yet. steps will be steadfast⁤ during the meeting.

The minister suggested calls may continue until the last moment aiming for an agreement benefiting all Lebanese people.

He ⁣concluded: “This country belongs to all of us-not just part of lebanonis. our position will be determined during today’s session in line with ongoing developments.”
