Israeli Regime Targets Al-Sousi Tower in Gaza City
The Israeli military, continuing its ruthless attacks on Gaza city, has issued evacuation warnings for several other towers, according to webangah News Agency’s English section citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik.
The army ordered residents to evacuate the Al-Roya and Al-Sousi towers in Gaza City before targeting them.
Concurrently, Al Jazeera reported that Israeli warplanes struck the Al-sousi residential tower located opposite the UNRWA headquarters in Tell al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City, demolishing it entirely.
The Israeli military claimed: “Shortly ago we targeted a multi-story building used by Hamas. Hamas had installed intelligence-gathering equipment and observation centers monitoring our troops within this building.”
Meanwhile, hospital sources confirmed eight people were killed and several others injured following airstrikes on a home in Sheikh Radwan in northern Gaza City.
Medical sources also reported that as of today’s attacks by Israel’s occupying forces on the Gaza Strip, 21 Palestinians have been killed. Thirteen of those died in strikes targeting Gaza City itself.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that over the past 24 hours, six more Palestinians have died due to hunger and malnutrition; among them was a child.
This brings the total number of malnutrition-related deaths in Gaza to 382 victims, including 135 children.
Since declaring an IPC famine alert for Gaza,there have been 104 recorded deaths from malnutrition,including 20 children among them.
