Israeli Intelligence Services Frustrated by Outcomes of Doha Attack
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Al-Mayadeen, reported that the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth described yesterday’s failed Israeli military operation in Qatar targeting Hamas leaders as unsuccessful. The report stated that Israeli officials doubt the success of this attack against Hamas leaders in Doha.
These Israeli media outlets noted that details surrounding the failure remain unclear.Quoting two intelligence sources from the regime,thay said existing details leads to skepticism about their ability to inflict lethal damage on their intended targets.
The newspaper elaborated that initial assessments within Israel’s intelligence service and shin bet were optimistic regarding the operation’s outcome because the attack occurred soon after a meeting commenced among Hamas leaders, ensuring most senior figures were inside the targeted building. Additionally, bombs struck the building causing meaningful damage.
