675 Arrested in Protests Against Macron in France
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, France has witnessed large-scale protests against the government over President Emmanuel Macron’s policies. These demonstrations intensified after the collapse of the center-right government led by françois Bayrou and the appointment of Sébastien Lecornu as the new prime minister.
data released by france’s Ministry of Interior reported that 675 people were detained during these protests, with 280 arrests occurring in Paris alone.
The demonstrations,organized under the slogan “Let’s Stop Everything,” mobilized around 200,000 protesters across 850 locations nationwide.
