Al-Julani Hosts CENTCOM Commander at Al-Shaab Palace in Damascus

According to the ‌English section of webangah News Agency, quoting mehr ⁣News agency, SANA reported that al-Joulani and ‍his wife met with General Cooper, CENTCOM commander, ‍Thomas Barrack,⁤ the US special envoy, and their delegation at the People’s Palace in Damascus.​ The meeting was attended by several ministers and senior officials.

The discussions ‌focused on political and military cooperation aimed at advancing shared interests and stability within Syria and the region.

Al-Joulani is scheduled‌ for a four-day visit to New York from September 21 to 25, 2025.
