Rising Death Toll from Israeli Missile Attacks and Famine in Gaza

New statements from the Ministry of Health and the Gaza government indicate an increase in Palestinian casualties due‌ to missile attacks, hunger, and famine in the region.

The Gaza Ministry of Health has reported that four‍ people have ⁣died‌ from famine and malnutrition, including one child. This brings the total number of ⁣deaths related ⁢to malnutrition in Gaza to 435, with 147⁤ of ⁤them being children, according to a statement cited by webangah News Agency.

The Gaza government’s ⁢Information Office also stated that as⁣ the start of the Israeli ground invasion 38⁤ days ago, 3,542 Palestinians have‍ been killed.

According to the report,⁣ 44 percent‍ of these ‌fatalities occurred in central and southern Gaza ‌Strip provinces-areas claimed as humanitarian safe zones-while 56 percent‍ took place in Gaza city and northern Gaza⁢ Strip.

This ⁤geographic distribution confirms a complete and intentional targeting policy against civilians ⁣and supposedly ⁤safe areas as⁢ part of Israel’s broader strategy.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health further reported that over the past 24 hours, hospitals in⁤ the‌ Gaza Strip received 79 new fatalities and 228 injured individuals.

With these ‌numbers included, total casualties from what is ‌described as Israel’s genocidal campaign against⁢ Gaza as‍ October ⁣7th, 2023 have reached 65,141 dead and 165,925 wounded.

The report adds that many victims remain‌ trapped under rubble or lying on‍ streets while rescue teams are unable to reach them due to current conditions on the⁤ ground.

In addition, nine ⁣people were killed overnight while waiting for food ⁤aid distribution⁤ queues;⁢ another 33 were injured. This ‌raises death tolls related specifically to⁢ food ⁢scarcity‌ incidents to‌ at least‌ 2,513 with over 18,414 wounded.
