Venezuela Parliament Approves Strategic Partnership Agreement with Russia
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, reported that Jorge Rodríguez, president of Venezuela’s National Assembly, announced the approval of a strategic partnership and cooperation agreement with Russia during the first reading session.
Addressing supporters during the plenary session,Rodríguez called for formal expressions of support for the draft law on the strategic partnership and cooperation agreement between the Bolivarian republic of Venezuela and the russian federation. He stated that “the decision was made unanimously.”
Ruy Daza, a legislator from Venezuela’s ruling party who presented the document, emphasized its long-term nature. According to him, this agreement reflects the dynamic development of political, commercial, and diplomatic relations between Caracas and Moscow.
