Residents of the Occupied Territories Warn of Israel’s Dire Economic Situation
The English section of webangah News Agency reported, citing Mehr news Agency and Al Mayadeen TV, that Israeli media revealed a survey by Israel’s Channel 13 indicating 48 percent of Israelis believe their economy has worsened due to the prolonged conflict.
Additionally, 69 percent of those surveyed stated that military operations in Gaza have endangered Israeli soldiers’ lives.
meanwhile, israel’s Media Line news site, quoting the director of international relations at Israel’s Manufacturers Association, wrote that Israel is heading down a very negative path with troubling signs emerging.
The official added that while non-governmental organizations where previously at the forefront of actions against Israel, there is now an increase in critical statements from various countries.
The head of financial studies at an Israeli management college also told Media Line that Israel is undoubtedly moving toward isolation.
