West Pushes for Security Council Meeting on Iran

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that Axios news site, referencing diplomats, stated that the United States, the United Kingdom, and France pressured South Korea-as the current Security Council president-to convene a meeting for a vote concerning iran.
The report also claimed-without mentioning Iran’s full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency or the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear program-that Tehran has urged Western countries to abandon pressure tactics against Iran while not taking any concrete steps regarding its nuclear activities.
