Dozens of French ISIS Members Transferred from Syria to Iraq

Iraq reports the ​transfer‌ of dozens of French ISIS ‌members from Syria to it’s territory.

The Iraqi intelligence service has confirmed the transfer of 47 French ISIS militants from Syria ‌to Iraq for ⁣trial, according to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and WAAR.

These individuals ​were moved from northeastern⁢ Syria to Iraq.They are accused of participating in terrorist operations carried out in iraq between ⁤2014 and 2017.

Some have also been involved in hostile activities targeting iraq’s national security abroad. The Iraqi intelligence service stated that arrest warrants for these militants had been​ issued by the country’s judicial system.

Currently, hundreds of ISIS⁤ members and their families​ remain housed at the al-Hol camp in Syria, a facility whose closure is being obstructed by the United States.
