Guterres: The World Should Not Fear Israel’s Retaliatory Responses
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Russia Al-Youm, UN Secretary-General António Guterres told Agence France-Presse that the world must not fear the reactions of the Zionist regime amid its ongoing war against Gaza and efforts to occupy the West Bank.
He added,”We should not be afraid of retaliatory responses. there is at least one opportunity for the international community to unite and exert pressure on them.”
it is noteworthy that Israel’s cabinet recently took steps toward annexing the West Bank despite opposition from the United Nations and various countries.
The regime has threatened to annex the West Bank if Palestine’s statehood is recognized during a session of the UN General Assembly.
