Kallas: Russia’s Three Airspace Violations in Europe Over Two Weeks Are Not Accidental
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al jazeera via Mehr News Agency, on Monday, european Union foreign policy chief Kaya Kallas responded to Estonia’s claim that Russian fighter jets violated its airspace.She asserted that Russia’s three breaches of EU airspace within two weeks are not accidental.
Kallas reiterated Brussels’ hostile stance toward Moscow, stating, “Russia undermines our security by testing our borders. I no Russia will continue its provocations as long as it is allowed.”
She further added that these actions also weaken moscow’s own security.
meanwhile, Russia has repeatedly maintained that its fighter jets flew in international airspace and did not violate Estonian airspace. Nonetheless, Moscow remains open to diplomatic consultations on the issue.
