French President Emphasizes Support for Security Council expansion at 80th UN General Assembly
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, French President Emmanuel Macron declared early Wednesday at the 80th United Nations General Assembly that he strongly supports reforming and expanding the Security Council, particularly in favor of Africa.
He added, “In facing the challenges before us, we must not succumb to despair.”
macron stated, ”We should not yield to the law of the jungle or allow issues to be imposed by force.”
He further noted that after 80 years since the UN’s founding, their priority is achieving effective multilateral action.
