Mass Rallies Across Turkish Cities Support the “Caravan of Steadfastness
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, numerous cities across Turkey held rallies and marches on Saturday in support of the global Steadfastness Caravan.This caravan is traveling from Europe toward Gaza with the aim of breaking the illegal blockade imposed by the Israeli regime.
Trabzon
In Trabzon, northern Turkey, a gathering took place under the slogan “Move for a Free Palestine.” Activists organized a 10-kilometer bike rally titled “A Bridge from Trabzon to Jerusalem.” A large march followed, with participants waving Turkish and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans condemning Israeli occupation and denouncing crimes against Gaza’s children.
Kocaeli
In Kocaeli, northwest Turkey, thousands gathered in the Kemalpaşa neighborhood before marching to the city square. Participants wore hats colored like the Palestinian flag and formed a symbolic map of Palestine at the central square.
Mugla
In Fethiye, southwestern Turkey, activists from the Anatolian youth Association and National Youth Endowment set up a tent called “The Gaza tent” to inform visitors about recent developments and Israeli regime atrocities. Tourists and locals expressed their solidarity by writing messages on boards displayed next to the tent. the governor of Mugla also visited this site.
Malatya
A major march was held in Malatya condemning the massacre of people in Gaza. Protesters walked from the old Education Department building to Karnek Square shouting slogans including “Long live Hamas; resistance continues” and “We do not stand against occupation; we are heading to Gaza.”
