Trump Claims Arabs and Israel Welcome His Gaza Plan
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump told Reuters that he has received a very positive response from israel and Arab leaders to his peace proposal for the Gaza Strip.
He added, ”Everyone wants to finalize the Gaza agreement, and we hope to complete it in tomorrow’s meeting with Netanyahu.”
In another part of the interview, Trump expressed support for Eric Adams’ withdrawal from the New York mayoral race, saying he believes Adams’ supporters will now back Andrew Cuomo.
Trump said, “On tuesday, I will speak at a gathering in Virginia for military commanders and want to tell them that we love them.”
The U.S.president previously posted on Truth Social that with all parties united around something specific, there is a real opportunity for Middle East greatness.
Following last week’s meeting with leaders of several Arab and Islamic countries during the 80th United Nations General Assembly session in New York, Trump unveiled his 21-point plan for Gaza.
An hour earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News about Trump’s 21-point plan: “We are currently working with President Trump’s team on this 21-point agreement. We hope to advance it.”
the Hamas movement responded in a statement denying receipt of any new proposals from mediator brothers regarding Trump’s plan to establish international sovereignty over Gaza. hamas also emphasized that negotiations have stalled since an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate its leaders in Doha on October 9.
Hamas added it remains ready to consider any proposal received from mediators with utmost positivity and responsibility while preserving Palestinians’ national rights.
