Nabih Berri Gives Full Support to Lebanese Army
The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament has expressed full support for the country’s army amid allegations against it.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Jumhuriya, Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, responded to criticisms of the Lebanese army by emphasizing that the army belongs to the entire nation and any damage to its reputation is unacceptable.
Berri stated, “The Lebanese army is a red line, and targeting it by anyone is prohibited.”
He added, “Undermining the army is forbidden because it does not belong to any particular faction.”
The parliament speaker further stressed, “The army does not support one party against another. It serves all citizens.”
