Ziad Al-Nakhala: Trump’s Plan Is a Recipe to Destroy the Region
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Maan,Ziad al-Nakhaleh,Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement,emphasized that the plan announced at the joint press conference by Trump and Netanyahu at the White House is an American-Zionist agreement. He described it as reflecting Tel aviv’s position and as a blueprint for continuing aggression against the Palestinian people.
He added that Israel is trying through america to impose everything it failed to achieve during its war-mongering against Gaza. This plan serves as a prescription for igniting further conflict in the region.
Earlier, Mohamed ElBaradei, Egyptian politician and former Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, stated that Donald Trump’s proposed plan for Gaza’s future is a compromising scheme aimed at surrender.
He said: “I listened to the White House press conference on Gaza and Palestine and felt deep sorrow over current conditions and Palestine’s future, along with all Arab countries. Trump’s plan is not one for peace but rather a plan for submission.”
Last night at the White House, Netanyahu said Trump’s plan includes Hamas’s complete disarmament and returning Israeli captives. Furthermore, he stated governance in Gaza would proceed without Hamas or the Palestinian Authority.
Netanyahu also claimed that administering Gaza through an international organization would permanently end war in this area.
