New York Times: Washington and Tehran Agree on Expelling 100 Iranians from U.S

According to Iranian sources cited by the outlet, a U.S. charter flight departed Louisiana on Monday night and will likely arrive in Iran via Qatar today.
Iranian officials stated that moast passengers on this flight had either been denied asylum or had not yet appeared at their asylum hearings.
Reuters noted that both the White House and the U.S. State Department have not responded to requests for comment on this report.
The New York Times described this move as one of the strictest efforts by the Trump administration to deport immigrants.
