Revealing Secret Baath Party Meetings with Direct U.S. Support
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Maloma,a responsible source in Anbar province stated that secret initial meetings of dissolved Baath Party members took place in Baghdad and Najaf with direct coordination and oversight from the united States.
The source emphasized that figures affiliated with the dissolved Baath Party held a confidential meeting in Baghdad aimed at devising mechanisms to form a US-backed interim government in Iraq.
According to the report, these meetings intend to sow discord among Iraq’s political parties and destabilize the country.
The source added that the US has promised Baathist leaders that political figures who have governed as 2003 will be wholly sidelined, with some facing trial.
