Oliyanov: France, Germany, and the UK Play No Independent Role on Iran
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations based in Vienna, wrote on Tuesday via social media platform X: “It is captivating that France, Germany, and the UK openly state that their role is to facilitate a nuclear agreement between Iran and the United States. This essentially acknowledges that Europeans have no independent role to play.”
It should be noted that yesterday the Presidency of the European Union announced in a statement that it reinstated sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This step followed a UN action seen as anti-Iranian under pressure from the US and Europe’s troika. Many officials from various countries and experts admit these sanctions had already failed previously.
