Hamas: Raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque During Eid al-Adha Escalates Religious War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Information Center, Hamas declared that calls by Jewish extremist groups for a widespread storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Sukkot holiday represent a dangerous move and form part of the Zionist regime’s religious war against this holy place.
Haroun Nasser al-Din, a member of Hamas’s political bureau and head of Jerusalem affairs within the movement, emphasized today, Tuesday, that these calls reflect ongoing efforts by occupiers to impose Judaization projects on Al-Aqsa Mosque. This includes temporal and spatial division of the mosque compound and performing Talmudic rituals within its courtyards.
he added that such actions demonstrate an intensified level of extremism and hostility among settlers and also arrogance from Israel’s extremist government, which supports these violations.Nasser al-Din recalled that in the previous Hebrew year more than 58,000 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa-a record figure indicating escalating raids aimed at enforcing permanent Judaization realities.
This Hamas leader stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is an exclusively Islamic right. He held occupiers fully responsible for all consequences resulting from these policies and warned that such aggressions may provoke popular anger and increase resistance attacks. He concluded by calling on Palestinians in Jerusalem, occupied lands, and across contact points to mobilize for mass presence at Al-Aqsa. He also urged Arab and Islamic nations to rise in defense of Jerusalem and its sanctities by supporting the Palestinian people.
