Details Emerge on the Abduction of Tesnim Al-Hams by Israeli Special Forces
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab News Agency, the family of Al-Hams announced that Tasnim Al-Hams, the daughter of Palestinian physician Marwan Al-Hams and director of Gaza field hospitals, was kidnapped by Israeli special forces. The family stated that this group operates under the leadership of Yasser Abu Shabab, head of an armed faction supported by Israel in Gaza.
This incident follows a previous crime in which Tasnim’s father, Dr. Marwan Shafik Al-Hams-director of Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar Hospital and head of Gaza’s field hospitals-was abducted on July 21 near the Red Cross Hospital west of Khan Younis by the same forces.
During his arrest, Dr. al-Hams was shot in the leg, and his ambulance driver was also wounded. Since then, he has been held at Ashkelon prison. According to Ala’a al-Skkafi, director of the al-Damir Human Rights Institute, Israeli authorities have prevented him from meeting with his lawyer.
The kidnapping of Tasnim Al-Hams comes as her family continues to endure the consequences and trauma from her father’s detention. This move is viewed as part of Tel Aviv’s ongoing policies targeting Palestinian families through suppression and targeted arrests.
