Germany: Russia’s Behavior Is Unacceptable; We Will Strengthen Our Defense Capabilities
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, Germany’s Foreign Minister claimed there is considerable evidence that Russia is behind efforts to destabilize and violate national sovereignty.
Johan Wadefoul said in an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, “We will not allow our sovereignty or that of NATO countries to be violated by any party.”
He emphasized, “Russia is a country that disregards a rules-based order and international laws.Moscow’s behavior is unacceptable and constitutes a blatant breach of the international system.”
The senior german official warned about the dangers following Russia’s shift toward becoming a war economy, stating Germany takes security agency warnings very seriously.
Wadefoul added, “We are working to strengthen our defensive measures against Russian threats. We must take extensive action because we live next to an aggressive Russia.”
The German foreign minister also noted that NATO has made collective decisions to bolster defense efforts. ”Europe and Germany must do more to ensure security on this continent,” he said.
He further claimed,”The United States has changed; the current governance differs from previous ones. Despite challenges, relations between Germany and the U.S. remain strong. We are striving to ensure America remains a reliable ally for Germany.”
