«Masad» Launches Intense Assault on Al-Julani’s Sham Elections

The ⁤Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) strongly condemned the staged elections held ‍by al-Joulani’s administration, ‌according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Hawar News Agency via Mehr news Agency.

In its statement, the SDC ⁤said: “Public opinion‌ has‌ expressed opposition⁤ to the parliamentary elections‌ conducted by the Syrian Interim Government. We closely followed the elections for Syria’s People’s Assembly and found ⁣they do not⁢ reflect the will of Syrians.They exclude large regions and multiple groups, serving as a political ⁣spectacle​ unworthy of Syria’s rich history ​and ‌the sacrifices made⁤ by its people-people who have fought to build a new Syria founded on democracy, freedom, and genuine‍ participation.”

The statement added: “Rather than advancing national unity and comprehensive reconciliation, these mock elections deepen divisions⁢ within Syrian society. Elections are ⁤onyl legitimate⁢ when they include full participation and ​depiction of all Syrians inside ⁢and⁤ outside the country, under international supervision that guarantees their integrity and openness.”

The SDC emphasized: “Syrians demand ‍real elections that truly express their will.Legitimate elections are those that end polarization and establish just⁢ and lasting peace in Syria.”
