According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Egyptian media announced that indirect negotiations between Hamas and the Israeli regime have begun in Sharm El-Sheikh to review Trump’s ceasefire proposal for the Gaza Strip.
The report states that the purpose of these indirect talks between Palestinian and Israeli delegations in Sharm El-Sheikh is to explore mechanisms for preparing initial conditions toward a prisoner exchange agreement.
Israeli media previously reported that Ron Dermer,Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs,would participate in the discussions. However, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office clarified that talks would proceed at a routine level initially, with senior officials joining later if progress is made.
