Oman Airline Removes Israel’s Fake Name from Its Map
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al Mayadeen Network, Israeli media reported that Oman Air has removed the [fictitious] name “Israel” from its maps and replaced it with “State of Palestine.”
Earlier, OmanS foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi strongly criticized Israel at the United Nations General Assembly. he called for international sanctions against Israel for “blatant violations of international law and infringements on countries’ sovereignty.”
He emphasized, “The global community today faces vital challenges that require solidarity, responsibility, and joint cooperation.”
referring to the Palestinian issue, Al Busaidi stated: “The question of Palestine must be a priority in all our discussions. The time has come to end occupation and realize a two-state solution to resolve decades of conflict and deprivation.”
The Omani foreign minister added,”Recognizing the State of palestine at this critical juncture is the most meaningful step toward a just resolution of the conflict.It would also demonstrate global commitment to a two-state solution.”
He criticized Israel’s approach: “Israel continues to ignore calls from the international community and rejects entering serious dialog that could lead to a extensive and just solution. Its ongoing policy of using force and silencing reason threatens the credibility of the international system.”
Al Busaidi urged world powers to take concrete measures to limit Israel’s ability to continue policies he described as “genocide, destruction of Palestinian land, siege, and starving its people.”
He also proposed launching a peaceful global campaign aimed at lifting the blockade, ending injustice against Palestinians, and establishing an autonomous Palestinian state.
