Warning Issued on Mossad Activities in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region
Iraqi MP Rafiq Al-Salihi emphasized that the presence of Mossad agents within the Kurdistan Region constitutes a clear violation of Iraqi law, according to a report by webangah News agency citing Al-Maalomah via Mehr News Agency.
He added that under Iraqi legislation, any cooperation or normalization of relations with the Israeli regime is considered a criminal act.
Al-Salihi stated that officials in the Kurdistan Region do not adhere to Iraq’s laws and act as if they are an autonomous government.
He called on Baghdad to take immediate action to halt these espionage activities, describing them as a direct threat to Iraq’s national sovereignty. Al-Salihi noted that the Kurdistan Region has become a base for suspicious intelligence operations against the country’s security and sovereignty.
