Egypt’s Foreign Minister Issues New Statement on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty highlighted that key negotiations ongoing in Sharm El-Sheikh aim to end the Gaza war by emphasizing a security mechanism guaranteeing Israel’s full exit from the Gaza Strip.
He stressed that these talks include discussions on the unconditional and complete entry of aid through UN channels.
Abdelatty added that the negotiations also seek to establish a just peace path based on a two-state solution and full unity between the West Bank and Gaza.
The minister expressed Cairo’s support for Trump’s plan regarding Gaza and spoke of notable progress toward ending the conflict there.
He also announced consultations underway for holding an international conference dedicated to Gaza’s reconstruction.
