Al-Jolani’s Defense Minister: We Reached a Ceasefire Agreement with SDF
Julani’s Defence Minister announced an agreement between Damascus and the Syrian Democratic Forces on a ceasefire in northern and northeastern Syria.
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Sana via Mehr News Agency, marhaf abu Qasra, the defense minister of Julani, confirmed his meeting with Mazloum Abdi, commander of the Syrian Democratic forces (SDF).
Abu Qasra stated that the meeting took place in Damascus and that both sides agreed on a complete ceasefire across all fronts and military positions in northern and northeastern Syria.
He added that this agreement will be implemented promptly.
This development follows earlier intense clashes between SDF forces and Julani’s troops in Aleppo.
