Saraya al-Quds Issues Statement on Second Anniversary of Al-Aqsa Storm Operation
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Arab media reports, Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of Palestinian Islamic jihad, released a statement today on the occasion of both the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation and the 38th founding anniversary of this movement.
The statement described Al-Aqsa Storm as a decisive phase in the history of conflict with the Zionist enemy.It emphasized that during this operation, Palestinian resistance waged one of its greatest battles against Zionist fascism and oppression-oppression that for decades has included massacres, destruction, and forced displacement across Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip. the resistance faced everything from bombings and blockades to starvation policies that have recorded one of history’s worst tragedies in front of silent global eyes.
It continued: Two years ago, Palestinian resistance launched a blessed operation targeting enemy army positions along Gaza’s eastern border.During this campaign, heroic fighters demonstrated immense bravery and sacrifice. they captured numerous soldiers and officers from enemy forces while killing hundreds in direct frontline confrontations at zero distance lines-with scores taken prisoner as well. Among them were those who sacrificed their lives as martyrs or were injured or captured themselves.
Since then, resistance forces have continued confronting this criminal killer enemy who has waged a brutal war accompanied by mass killings-claiming tens of thousands of defenseless civilians in Gaza over two years-including many children, women, and elderly people.
The military wing affirmed that despite all efforts by Israel’s ruling coalition under Netanyahu to pursue extremist goals through war escalation over two years since Al-Aqsa Storm began-they have failed to break our people’s steadfast will grounded in their land and homeland loyalty. Resistance has sought ceaselessly to stop war intensity and alleviate suffering by proposing ceasefire agreements conditioned solely on halting hostilities along with ending Gaza’s blockade; however these overtures were rejected repeatedly by Netanyahu’s government continuing aggressive warfare.

- The fate awaiting Operation Gideon II-which follows systematic destruction campaigns alongside mass killings & psychological terrorism toward our nation-is nothing but despair failure collapse.
- We reaffirm ceaseless attempts alongside all Palestinian factions towards discovering ways ending current war & relieving hardships inflicted on Gazans during recent months remain ongoing prioritization from us all.”
