Ceasefire Implemented in Gaza

The English section of​ webangah News Agency citing Mehr News Agency​ and Al Mayadeen, reported that Hebrew sources have confirmed the⁣ ceasefire agreement in Gaza has officially entered into ⁤effect.

Palestine al⁤ Youm also reported that‍ the Israeli military radio announced the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad ⁤movement earlier issued a statement regarding the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Israel, emphasizing that what was achieved‍ was not a gift from anyone.

The statement added: “While we do⁤ not deny Arab and⁤ international efforts, we stress the immense sacrifices made ‍by the Palestinian people and the courage⁢ and ⁢valor ‍demonstrated⁢ by its fighters ​on‌ the ground. They confronted enemy forces with unprecedented bravery‍ during this battle; without this, resistance coudl ⁣not have stood as⁣ a strong contender at ​the negotiating table.”
