110 Protests Across 58 Moroccan Cities Mark Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Turkey’s Anadolu agency via Mehr News Agency, the Moroccan Association for the Support of Islamic Ummah Affairs, an NGO, announced on Friday evening that over 110 demonstrations took place in 58 cities across Morocco to celebrate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
The organization stated that Moroccans participated in more than 110 protests across 58 cities on Friday to mark the achievement of this ceasefire.
The statement added that these gatherings were held under the slogan ”Gaza has won.”
Cities witnessing these demonstrations included Tetouan in the north, Casablanca in the west, Taza in the east, and Inezgane in southern Morocco.
Beyond Morocco, several Arab countries such as Yemen and Mauritania have also recently organized celebrations and protests commemorating an end to what they describe as a two-year-long Israeli genocide.
The Gaza ceasefire deal ending two years of conflict and bloodshed has received widespread regional and international approval.
