According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Nashra, Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, reacted to the Israeli regime’s strike in the Al-Masilah area in southern Lebanon by calling it an assault on all of Lebanon and its citizens.
Berri asserted that this attack would not undermine the steel-like determination of Lebanese people or residents of southern Lebanon.he said: “Israel’s blatant and brutal aggression-whether in form, content, timing, location, or targets-will neither change our beliefs and principles nor those held by our people. Once again, they pay wiht their lives, homes, and livelihoods for their steadfastness toward their land and legitimate right to a dignified life.”
He described this operation as characteristic of Israel’s aggressive nature. “This attack on Al-Masilah and its residents-the owners of industries and industrial centers-is not just against them but an attack on Lebanon and its people,” Berri emphasized.
Berri also stressed the necessity for unity against the Zionist enemy.
It is indeed worth noting that early Saturday morning Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace repeatedly broke ceasefire agreements. they bombed a car exhibition along with heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers located in Al-Masilah town within Sidon Governorate.
