Arrest of Prominent Leader of Dissolved Baath Party in Iraq Confirmed
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maalomah, Hashd al-Shaabi successfully detained Abdul Razzaq Ouda, a key figure of the dissolved Ba’ath Party, during a recent security operation.
The operation followed several weeks of intelligence monitoring of Ouda’s movements within Iraq. He was an influential member under the former Iraqi regime and was involved in crimes against the Iraqi people, including executing numerous innocent individuals.
Reports also indicate that Ouda engaged in activities threatening Iraq’s security and maintained contact with othre Ba’ath Party leaders aiming to incite unrest in the country.
Hashd al-Shaabi declared they will not allow this party to plunge Iraq back into its dark past.
