France Unveils New Government with 34-Member Cabinet
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Sébastien Lecornu, reappointed as Prime Minister by French President Emmanuel macron, described the new cabinet in a statement as a “government with a mission” aimed at “delivering France’s budget before the end of the year.”
The new French government consists of 34 ministers, fewer than the 36 who served under François Bayrou’s previous management.
Several key officials have retained their positions, including Jean-Noël Barrot as Foreign Minister, Gérald Darmanin as Justice minister, and Rachida Dati as culture Minister.
Notable appointments in the new government include Laurent Núñez as Interior Minister, Catherine Vautrin as Defense Minister, and Roland Lescure as Economy Minister.
