Tel Aviv Agrees to Palestinian Prisoner Reserve List; Red Cross Deploys in Deir al-Balah

Tel Aviv has agreed to a reserve adn alternate ‍list of Palestinian prisoners, while the Red⁣ Cross is ⁢prepared⁣ to receive⁢ detainees​ in⁢ central​ Gaza⁢ Strip, according to the⁢ latest developments in prisoner ⁤exchanges ⁢between Hamas and‌ Tel Aviv.

The English section of webangah News⁢ Agency, citing Mehr News ⁤Agency ‍and Al Jazeera, reports that Hebrew-language media revealed Israel’s cabinet has⁣ approved​ a reserve list including ⁣additional Palestinian prisoners. These prisoners ⁤would be released ⁢if certain amendments are implemented.

The list includes five Palestinians from Gaza, notably⁢ Dr. ‍Hussam Abu Safiya, ​director of Kamal‌ Adwan ⁢Hospital. Abu Safiya’s release is‍ contingent upon ⁤the total number of freed Palestinian prisoners not reaching the required quota.

A‌ Hamas source told Palestine Today that the final lists of ​Palestinians set for release-submitted by resistance forces-have been approved ​following ⁣complex negotiations.

Furthermore, reports indicate that the International Committee of the Red Cross has stationed‌ itself in deir ‌al-Balah in central Gaza to receive⁤ Palestinian detainees. Red Cross buses designated for transporting these prisoners have begun moving eastward across Gaza. the first round of prisoner exchange between⁤ Hamas and Israel is scheduled for this morning.
