First Group of Palestinian Prisoners Enters Gaza
Reuters reported that the first group of Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli captivity has entered the Gaza Strip.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, Reuters reported that a source involved in the Palestinian prisoner exchange process confirmed that the first of 38 buses carrying Palestinian prisoners has arrived in Gaza.
Palestinian sources report that large crowds have gathered in Khan Younis to welcome the returning prisoners. Participants in the gathering are waving Hamas and Islamic Jihad flags.
Additionally, two buses carrying freed Palestinian prisoners have arrived in Beitunia, west of Ramallah.
