Release of Nearly 4,000 Palestinian Prisoners in Three Prisoner Exchange Deals

Palestinian sources reported that in ⁢three prisoner exchange agreements secured by the resistance during the Battle of al-Aqsa Storm, a total of 3,985 Palestinian prisoners were released from​ Israeli occupation ‌prisons.

According to the⁤ English section of webangah ⁢News agency, ‍citing Mehr News Agency and⁣ Quds Al-Akhbariya, Palestinian sources confirmed that in three prisoner exchange agreements attained by the resistance amid the Battle of Al-Aqsa‌ Storm,⁢ 3,985 Palestinian detainees ⁤ were freed from ​Israeli ​prisons.

These sources stated that among those released,486 prisoners held life sentences,while another 319 had long-term sentences.

Thay‍ also reported that 297 of ⁣these freed prisoners were minors, and 114 were Palestinian women. Additionally, 33 freed ‌detainees face possible⁤ life imprisonment⁣ or long-term ‌sentences.

The ‌sources ​emphasized that ‌ 2,724 of these prisoners are residents of ​the⁢ Gaza Strip who had been detained by israeli ‌forces ⁢after October 7.
